I haven't done any artwork recently, unfortunately, but I stumbled on to this small, old colored pencil sketch while looking for something yesterday. It's on one of a several hand written text pages, a story I must have been working on years ago. I don't know what the story was about. (The way I usually write is just to jot down favorite scenes from random parts of the story, so even if I sit down and read it, I probably still won't know what's going on, LOL!) I don't know if this was a character in the story, or just something I doodled.

I like this very much. She has a sort of Mona Lisa things going on in terms of that mysterious little smile. I really like her lips and the subtle shading on her nose in this. It's a very nice little drawing!

I hear you on the writing, too -- I tend to do that as well. Think of a bunch of scenes, but then never connect them! XD Not the best way to go about working...! =P

She has such a gorgeous face. I really like that broad, rounded sort of facial structure, like Inuits have. It looks both exotic and earthly. Plus the muted color around her really sets it off.

I like the sketchy style. The shading of the face is quite good.
